After shielding the President, Secret Service agent Nick Sager assists in concealing the death of a young woman who died accidentally during an extramarital encounter. Weeks before the election, the now‑disillusioned former agent is contacted by his old partner, only to learn that the President’s former aide—the one who knew about the cover‑up—has been discovered dead under suspicious circumstances, reigniting a perilous investigation.
