A mental patient is taken to an operating room where electrodes are attached to her scalp. As doctors begin dissecting the brain, a loud, jarring cry transports the viewer inside the mind. In this surreal space a group of actors perform interpretive dances, leaping, collapsing onto one another, pressing hands to their bodies and forming shapes.
