Editor Eckernförde discovers an audiocassette with the final minutes of dead politician Uwe Barschel, which could explain his death. His daughter Nina takes the tape to Munich while visiting her paralyzed mother. The CIA and Germany’s BND move to retrieve it, assigning the “super‑checkers” Erkan and Stefan as her guards. The duo outwits them.
