A country girl, vague about her future, tires of her monotonous village job and begins commuting each day to a similarly dull city position. Her simple aim—to find a boyfriend, marry and start a family—is shaken when her more adventurous friend’s path shows hidden drawbacks. She suffers her first heartbreak and learns a harsh life lesson.
