Set two years before Britain’s Sexual Offences Act decriminalised homosexuality, the film follows a young gay couple on a road trip in which they must hide public displays of affection. The experimental drama is daring and poetic, probing one man’s anxiety about his sexuality and his physical attraction to another. It was the second film directed by Jamaican actor‑director Lloyd Reckord.
