Luisa is a couples therapist trapped in a loveless marriage to Richard, while also pursuing an affair with his boss, Leopold. Her complicated life spirals out of control when she discovers a duplicate of herself, seemingly naive and carefree. Naming her doppelganger Ann, Luisa initially finds the situation advantageous, allowing her to spend more time with Leopold while Ann occupies Richard. However, as Richard develops a fondness for Ann, Luisa finds herself increasingly dissatisfied, leading to a tense conflict between the two versions of herself.
