She journeyed to The Beyond, a fantastical realm of the dead, where an annual talent show seeks to crown the greatest singer. Julieta, Chiqui’s mother, is a luchadora with aspirations of becoming the most celebrated singer ever. Determined to reunite with his mother and dance during her performance, Chiqui embarks on a quest with his father, a strong luchador, to find The Beyond and bring his family back together.
