Mitsuhiko Tsuburaya lends Conan a massive stack of manga, which he begins to read despite the daunting volume. Meanwhile, Kogorou Mouri is hired by the Mine family to guard a prized sword in their dojo after a note warns that the phantom thief Kaitou Kid plans to steal it. At the dojo, Conan, Mouri and Yaiba Kurogane join forces to stop Kid’s heist, but Conan soon notices odd details that make the case more complex.
