Dark Feathers: Dance of the Geisha

Kate Lin (Crystal J. Huang) is a reserved and mysterious photographer with a surprising passion for amateur ballroom dancing. However, beneath her calm and elegant exterior hides a disturbing secret: the dance partners she takes on keep disappearing under tragic and unexplained circumstances. These vanishings are often linked to suicides, accidental deaths, or other mysterious causes—implying that once someone enters her embrace, they rarely leave alive or unchanged.

Detective Remy (Gilles Marini), who is married to the glamorous Karina Smirnoff’s character Amelia, owns a dance studio in downtown San Francisco. When several men close to Kate begin to die in suspicious ways, Remy becomes intrigued and begins to conduct a discreet, off-the-books investigation into these eerie occurrences. He manages to convince Amelia that his curiosity is purely professional, and to get closer to Kate, Remy volunteers to be her next dance partner. As they rehearse in dimly lit rooms with pulsating tango music, a magnetic and almost hypnotic connection develops between them.

Remy finds himself increasingly drawn into Kate’s captivating presence, unable to resist the charm and danger she exudes. Meanwhile, Amelia’s initial support shifts to suspicion, especially as she notices his growing obsession.
