In Chile, 1983, Gladys is a courageous young woman living with her mother and daughter in La Victoria, a disadvantaged neighborhood of Santiago, under the repressive Pinochet dictatorship. Their lives are unexpectedly touched when Samuel Thompson, a young missionary, arrives and begins documenting the community's struggles through his camera. His recordings offer a glimpse into the hardships faced by the population during this turbulent period.
