His presence reshapes the once‑peaceful customs, and the people learn to navigate a fragile balance between obedience and the lingering hope of old traditions. Within this tense atmosphere, Samanosuke commands the village’s fate, while the respected Hanabusa family carries the memory of a more harmonious past.
