In collaboration with director Peter Whitehead, Daddy explores the bond between a father and a young girl. Like much of Niki de Saint Phalle’s work, the film mixes autobiographical material with imaginative storytelling, pairing erotic, incest‑themed scenes with a reversed energy where the female character teases the paternal figure. Saint Phalle narrates, offering a psycho‑analytical commentary that seeks to explain the enigmatic moments.
