A malevolent spirit known as the Cucuy stalks disobedient children, according to legend. This frightening entity appears at night, kidnapping naughty kids and taking them to his cave, where he keeps them until he devours them. A young, defiant teenager is placed under house arrest, confined by an ankle monitor. Bored and restless, she begins spying on her neighbors through a telescope. Soon, children in the neighborhood start disappearing, leading her to suspect a terrifying connection to the local folklore.
