In Aanathadam, Vinu's family gears up for an arranged marriage as an NRI proposal looms. The wedding hinges on liquor for the party, and his friends demand at least 45 bottles of Dhavan while Vinu already has about 30. The pressure to supply liquor amplifies the tension around the impending ceremony.

On the night the wedding is meant to happen, Vinu's sister elopes with his friend Suni and takes the gold meant for the marriage. Simultaneously, the prime minister declares a nationwide lockdown due to Covid-19, plunging the village into chaos. Vinu's family and neighbors grapple with the sudden turn of events.

With the wedding upended and liquor scarce, villagers flood Vinu with requests for booze. He refuses to hand over everything and ends up drinking a few bottles himself while secretly stashing the rest. Realizing the growing desperation around liquor, he schemes to hide the stash from others.

Godson, a local don, grows desperate for liquor but cannot access it as excise SI Satyajit shuts down the bar and foils his plan to source from Kochi. Satyajit also arrests Durbalan, tightening the net around Godson’s operation. The clash between crime and enforcement intensifies.

Corrupt excise officer Sabu is secretly craving liquor and has already siphoned about 30 bottles from the station stock for personal use. He fears exposure as Satyajit demands the stock list to verify inventories. Godson’s gang then spots Vinu’s stash through a social post and targets it.

To derail Sabu’s purge, Sabumon sabotages Sabu’s jeep brakes in exchange for liquor and ends up admitted to hospital. The plot to grab Vinu’s stash escalates, leaving the plan in disarray yet still looming over the village. The incident marks a turning point in the liquor wars.

SI Rocket Shibu deploys a drone to enforce social distancing during the lockdown and spots Sumesh with a liquor bottle. In a panic, Sumesh destroys the drone and disappears with the evidence, complicating the authorities’ tasks. The drone’s disappearance fuels further suspicion in the village.

Sumesh hides the drone in his neighbor Vinu’s well to keep it out of police hands. He also seeds a rumor that Vinu is Covid positive, hoping to deter others from approaching and to shield the drone from scrutiny. The village buzzes with fear and misinformation.

Vinu and his lover Swapna plan to elope and reach a hilltop rendezvous to exchange the liquor for cash. He retrieves the stash from a pond, bags the bottles, and conceals them with spinach to avoid suspicion. A local grudger, however, reports the rendezvous point to Satyajit.

Just as Vinu is about to seal the deal, Satyajit and Rocket Shibu converge at the exchange point. Health Department officials arrive and capture Vinu, ordering all liquor to be disposed of due to Covid risks. The illicit deal collapses under the combined pressure of police, excise, and health authorities.

At the hospital, Vinu learns the rumors were true and tests positive for Covid-19, likely contracted from help who assisted sabotage. Sumesh also tests positive as a close contact, and both begin quarantine. Meanwhile Swapna’s arranged marriage proceeds, influenced by the social storm surrounding the outbreak.

As liquor shops reopen, the village breathes a sigh of relief and Gladson’s gang is buoyed by the return of supplies. Vinu and Sumesh toast the revival of liquor but vow to start anew with cleaner slates and fresh commitments. The community resumes normal life, tempered by the chaos they just survived.
