A college freshman who studies martial arts is beaten at his job by a racist gang. A Chinese cook coworker defeats the attackers and teaches him Kung Fu. When a tournament is announced, his instructor refuses to train him unless paid. After the gang assaults the freshman’s best friend, he must decide whether to compete or keep promise to master.
