Cocaine Bear

In 1985, drug smuggler Andrew C. Thornton II attempts to dispose of a cocaine shipment by dropping it from his plane. Unfortunately, he mishandles his parachute and suffers a fatal fall, leading to his lifeless body landing in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Local detective Bob discovers Andrew's body and suspects a connection to notorious drug kingpin Syd White from St. Louis. His investigation begins as he tries to unravel the implications of the cocaine drop.

In the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forest, an American black bear accidentally ingests some of the dropped cocaine. The bear's behavior becomes erratic and extremely aggressive, leading to dangerous encounters with humans.

The crazed bear attacks two hikers in the forest. Tragically, one of the hikers, Elsa, does not survive the deadly encounter, heightening the sense of danger in the area.

Middle schooler Dee Dee skips class with her best friend Henry to explore the forest. Their innocent adventure takes a dark turn when they stumble upon a lost brick of cocaine and unwittingly ingest it.

Sari, Dee Dee's mother, realizes her daughter is missing after school. She teams up with park ranger Liz and wildlife advocate Peter to search for Dee Dee in the vast and dangerous wilderness.

The search for Dee Dee intensifies when Sari and her allies come across Henry, who is clinging to a tree in fear of the rampaging bear. The chaos escalates, leading to a brutal attack where the bear kills Peter.

Miles away in St. Louis, Syd White dispatches Daveed, his fixer, to recover the remaining drugs. This mission sets off a chain of events that leads Daveed and Syd’s son, Eddie, to Georgia.

Upon arriving in Georgia, Daveed and Eddie encounter issues with the Duchamps gang at the forest station. A violent confrontation breaks out, leading to unexpected alliances and respect from gang members.

As the bear's rampage continues, it becomes increasingly dangerous. A series of gruesome attacks occur, resulting in the deaths of Tom and Liz in a shocking ambulance incident, deepening the terror among the characters.

Sari and Henry cleverly piece together clues to follow the trail left by Dee Dee. Their determination leads them deeper into the forest, where they encounter Olaf, who is mourning Elsa.

Sari, Henry, and Olaf discover the bear's den, revealing two cubs that show the bear's protective nature. This moment deepens the conflict as they realize the bear is not just a threat, but a mother.

The tension rises as Eddie and Daveed confront Bob, who is also searching for the kids. The chaos escalates further with the unexpected arrival of Syd, leading to a fatal conflict for Bob.

During the climax at the bear's cave, Sari, Henry, and Dee Dee take a daring leap into the water below to escape the chaos. Meanwhile, Eddie and Daveed decide to abandon their criminal ways.

The story concludes with Stache departing for New York with a duffel bag of cocaine. Meanwhile, Eddie finds new purpose as he reunites with his son, leaving the life of crime behind.
