The short film recreates the Klondike gold rush at its height, when hopeful prospectors faced harsh weather and a 3,000‑kilometre trek north of civilization to reach the famed gold fields. Using a historical series of still photographs, it contrasts bustling taverns and dance halls of Dawson City during the boom with the modest town it is today.
