Roy Cohn, the flamboyant attorney who served as Senator McCarthy’s staunch ally, opposed the Kennedys, cultivated a close relationship with the FBI, and became a symbol of America’s political darkness, spends his final days dying of AIDS in a private hospital. In his closing moments, memories and figures from his turbulent career appear, forcing him to confront the choices, betrayals and loves that defined his controversial life.
