Allison overhears that the children are adopted wards of Luke Enright, whom some call the savior of the kids. The information suggests a hidden cult behind the town's rituals. She resolves to reach Luke's farm with her friends to learn the truth.

Ezekiel confronts the group at the farm boundary, declaring they are on private property. After a tense exchange, Allison is allowed to see Luke. The moment foreshadows the power Luke wields over the children.

Luke confirms that Allison's brother is among the children and agrees to let her see him. He hesitates to intervene, leaving the brother in the care of an abusive father. This moment underscores Luke's manipulative control over the situation.

Jacob tells Allison he is engaged to Lily and that Lily is pregnant with his child. The revelation adds urgency to their situation and strengthens the motive to escape. The group realizes time is running out with a baby on the way.

Ezekiel conducts the ritual, requiring an 18-year-old to leap into a flaming silo to commune with He Who Walks Behind the Rows. Jacob is chosen but refuses to participate, calling the cult's religion false. The ceremony tightens the grip the cult holds on the town.

Kir, an outsider, agrees to become part of the cult after reading their Bible. He climbs the silo and leaps into the flames, choosing the cult over leaving. His death cements the danger the group faces from the town's followers.

The remaining teens want to leave Divinity Falls, but Allison refuses to abandon Jacob. She finds a note in Jacob's Bible that simply reads 'Help', revealing his desire to escape. This discovery pushes her to seek external help, including the sheriff.

Allison reaches out to the sheriff to halt Luke's operation, and Greg, who harbors feelings for Allison, decides to return and help. The plan to confront Luke and Ezekiel takes shape as they gather a rescue effort.

As they attempt to extinguish the silo, the flames kill two firefighters and Luke shoots the sheriff before apparently dying in a burst of flame. Ezekiel later reveals that Luke had been dead for years and was the true leader guiding the children in secret.

An all-out battle erupts between Allison's group and the children; many allies fall and the survivors press on. Allison eventually finds her brother, Jacob, who dies after telling her how to stop He Who Walks Behind the Rows. His words provide the crucial clue she will act on.

Allison confronts Ezekiel and knocks him into the fiery silo, where he dies. She then pours fertilizer into the silo and detonates it, blowing up the structure and ending the god's influence over the town.

Allison goes to Lily's house, where Lily's parents explain that Lily isn't ready to raise a baby. Lily chooses to have Allison adopt the child, a decision Allison accepts. The final image shows the baby comforted by song as the silos' fiery glow lingers in his eyes.
