Charlie, a bumbling waiter at a cheap cabaret, constantly endures his boss’s demanding orders. One day he encounters an attractive young woman strolling through the park and, eager to win her favor, pretends to be an ambassador. The scheme backfires when he discovers she is already engaged to a jealous fiancé, leading to comic mishaps.
