Louis Jordan and his band perform the hit title track “Caldonia” along with “Honey Child,” “Tillie,” and “Buzz Me,” delighting mid‑1940s jitter‑buggers, zoot‑suiters and bobby‑soxers. The musical numbers are set against a thin plot that humorously portrays the challenges of staging a production in Harlem.
