Mari Amachi, a devout Christian, enrolls at Perfect Religion Academy—a school that trains students from all faiths to become future world religious leaders. When her friend Saori is abducted by the extremist Black Buddha cult, which seeks to eradicate religious freedom through force and brainwashing, Mari prays for help. Instead, Buddha answers, transforming her into the eccentric superhero Butt Attack Punisher Girl Gotaman. She must battle villains, negotiate with Buddha, and endure scandalous costumes while trying to rescue Saori.
