Baron von Fibberg, a 50‑year‑old aristocrat living in Fibberg Castle with wife Olga and daughter Charley, is a keen hunter and obsessive about truth, despising any falsehood while keeping his own secrets hidden. Charley seems innocent but has secretly married the dandy Ernest Benda. Their plan to tell the stern baron erupts into a catastrophic family crisis.
