Michelle reveals she is an Andromedan empress who first arrived on Earth in the age of dinosaurs and urges Teddy to take her to Auxolith to contact the mothership. They travel toward Auxolith to continue the mission he had feared all along.

In Auxolith, Teddy attaches a homemade bomb to himself while Michelle guides a device toward the mothership. The blast tears through him, and Michelle, momentarily unconscious, regroups as she prepares for the final confrontation. She eventually teleports to the mothership to join her people.

The Andromedans declare Earth a failed experiment and destroy the planet by popping a bubble model, ending human civilization. In the aftermath, bees begin to return to Teddy’s quiet, bee-filled prairie as a symbolic rebirth of nature.
