Get Duked!

Three troubled students, Dean, Duncan, and DJ Beatroot, are taken on a trip to the Scottish Highlands by their teacher, Mr. Carlyle. Their goal is to earn the Duke of Edinburgh Award, which involves navigating the area using a traditional map.

Upon arriving, the boys are initially hesitant about their adventure ahead. However, their spirits lift significantly when Dean reveals he has brought hash, instantly changing the mood as they prepare to set off.

As they trek through the Highlands, the boys encounter a farmer plowing his field. After asking for directions, DJ Beatroot hands the farmer a mixtape, believing it would help their cause.

The boys come across a man in hunting attire who initially seems helpful. However, they soon realize he is actually the masked Duke, who starts shooting at them, prompting a panic-stricken escape.

In a chaotic attempt to escape, Dean and Duncan accidentally set the masked Duke’s leg on fire, leading to his retreat. This comical blunder adds to the absurdity of their journey.

Upon reaching the campsite, the boys find Mr. Carlyle nursing a burn on his leg. Mistakenly thinking he is the Duke, Duncan panics, resulting in a hilarious accident where he runs Carlyle over with their minibus.

In a frenzied attempt to cover their tracks, the boys decide to roll the minibus, with Mr. Carlyle inside, off a cliff. They think this will solve their problems, but the minibus unexpectedly begins to roll back down.

Meanwhile, local officers Sergeant Morag and PC Hamish are amidst their own confusion, searching for a notorious bread thief. They mistakenly receive reports about Duncan being a terrorist, which leads them to the boys.

The boys stumble upon the Duke again, revealing his psychotic wife, the Duchess. They realize that Mr. Carlyle is not the Duke, and as panic ensues, Ian becomes separated from the group, emphasizing their growing danger.

DJ Beatroot finds a group of farmers in a barn who recognize his talent and promote his mixtape. Seizing the opportunity, he performs a concert, which becomes pivotal amidst the chaos surrounding them.

Upon hearing Ian's cries for help, Dean and Duncan, covered in powdered soup, rush to rescue him. In a twist of fate, DJ Beatroot and his farmer fans join to fend off the Duke and Duchess, saving their friend.

The boys confront the Duke and Duchess on a shoreline, exchanging words about the state of the world. As masked hunters support the Duke, they are suddenly threatened, creating a moment of high tension.

Just when the situation looks dire, the minibus miraculously rolls off a cliff, crashing onto the hunters below. This unexpected event eliminates the immediate threat, granting the boys a breather.

After the chaos, they peek into the wrecked minibus to find Mr. Carlyle alive, albeit in a state of shock. Shortly after, the officers arrive, learning that Carlyle is the very bread thief they’ve been hunting for.

The boys cover for Mr. Carlyle, claiming the minibus belonged to the hunters. Grateful for their silence, Carlyle awards them the Duke of Edinburgh Award, transforming them into unexpected heroes in this hilariously chaotic adventure.
