Boris and Natasha

In Pottsylvania, Fearless Leader hatches the plan to obtain the time-reversal microchip invented by Professor Anton Paulovitch. He tasks his top agent, Agent X, with locating the professor, but Agent X suggests sending patsies instead. Boris Badenov and Natasha Fatale accept the assignment and are told to defect to America.

Boris and Natasha arrive in America and are subjected to tests by the CIA chief, Sheldon Kaufman, to verify their defection. The tests make it obvious they should be deported, but Willie argues they should be watched for a while. This sets up a web of surveillance around the couple.

Boris and Natasha are given an apartment and funds while Agent X is secretly watched, and a mysterious figure trails him. The duo seek out Kalishak, a secret assassin who might know who they should seek, but must first deal with nosy neighbors Toots and Harve who pry into their lives.

Kalishak agrees to help after accepting a bribe, and acts as a shoe-shine man, telling Boris 'Search your sole.' After they leave, one of Kalishak's potatoes is replaced with a bomb, killing him. Natasha later sees information written on the sole pointing to 'Minelli'.

Disguised as rug cleaners, Boris and Natasha track the clue to Sal Minelli, a photographer. Natasha lands a photo session and a party offer, using the disguise to get close. They pass the time by shopping at a mall, where Natasha begins to gain celebrity attention.

Boris resents Natasha acting like a celebrity, mindful of Fearless Leader's orders to keep a low profile. Natasha reflects on Toots' lessons about American couples and maintains that her actions have helped Boris's success. The strain between them grows as Natasha's fame rises.

Natasha attends the party while Boris worries about their lack of concealment. She keeps looking for Boris, and when she finds him, he is sleeping outside after the festivities. The uneasy dynamic underscores their shaky partnership.

Minelli calls for a photo session, revealing himself as a spy, and Kaufman and Agent X — along with the man who followed X — are spying on them. He warns that Fearless Leader sent them as patsies and that they will be killed; Agent X kills Minelli before revealing who Agent X is.

Boris, disguised as a cop, discovers that Agent X is actually Willie. An assassination attempt triggers as they leave their apartment, forcing them to hide in a hotel. They find Willie dead and learn of an 11:30 train schedule, deciding to move Willie's body to avoid suspicion.

Harve and Toots arrive at the hotel party and reveal themselves as Agents Moose and Squirrel. They also reveal Paulovitch removed the train schedule, and the professor disappears with it, leaving Boris and Natasha to pursue him. The confusion heightens the danger around them.

The chase leads to a taxi where Paulovitch claims ignorance about the chip. Boris discovers dynamite in the taxi and the driver is a dummy; when the car explodes, the blast reverses. Paulovitch explains the time-reversing microchip and reveals that his evil twin brother Kreeger is after it.

The heroes find a penny, then go to Mount Rushmore and discover a secret laboratory behind Lincoln's nose. They uncover millions of time-reverse microchips and find Anton tied up, who is revealed to be Kreeger rather than the captive professor. Anton explains his plan to mass-produce the chips to end wars, a plan he hoped would be used for good.

Kaufman reveals he isn't working for the government but for the auto industry and insurance interests, fearing the chip's end to his business. Harve and Toots reveal themselves as Agents Moose and Squirrel, and Fearless Leader arrives to seize the chips for himself. The scales of power tilt dangerously toward total control.

Boris and Natasha decide to flee to Tahiti to escape the danger. Boris publicly introduces Natasha as his girlfriend to cement their partnership and deflect suspicion as the credits roll toward a new, seemingly safer life.

The narrator muses on whether the couple can truly escape the danger and invites viewers to tune in to their next episode, 'Goodbye Mr. Chip' or 'The Megabytes Back!'
