The film kicks off with Tiffany (Diamond White) and her three friends as they stroll past a fraternity house. The fraternity brothers flirt with them and invite them to their Halloween party later in the evening. Suddenly, Tiffany’s father, Brian (Tyler Perry), pulls up in his car, scolding the girls and urging them to get into the vehicle. Frustrated with having to repeat himself, he is adamant that they shouldn’t walk by the frat house after school. However, the girls dismiss his concerns and continue on their way home.
Once back at home, Brian instructs Tiffany to keep her outfit on until she gets home. He mentions he has plans for the night and that she will need to stay with her mother. Tiffany, eager to sneak out and attend the party, protests that she is now 17 and not obligated to stay with her mother. Instead, she proposes that her friend Aday (Liza Koshy), the preacher’s daughter, will stay over to prevent her from being alone. Subsequently, Brian reaches out to Aunt Madea (Tyler Perry) to arrange for her to babysit Tiffany and Aday that night.
Aunt Madea is out enjoying Halloween with Hattie (Patrice Lovely), playfully pretending to give candy to children while stealthily taking some from their baskets. A humorous conflict arises with a chubby preteen in a cow costume and his mom, but the duo insults his weight, suggesting they’re actually doing him a service. Suddenly, they are startled by a clown with a giant jack-in-the-box, leading to a comical scuffle where Madea realizes it’s actually her brother Joe (Tyler Perry) and Aunt Bam (Cassi Davis).
All four of them head over to Brian’s house, where Brian tries to engage in a “friendlier” approach to parenting by asking the others to act casually as if they just happened to stop by. However, they all express that his methods aren’t working.
Meanwhile, Madea, Aunt Bam, Uncle Joe, and Hattie find themselves in the living room partaking in some legally obtained medical marijuana. Tiffany then introduces a spooky game, “Life or Death,” which Madea dismisses, but a freaky card drops out. Tiffany warns everyone about Mr. Wilson, a ghost that haunts their home. She signals Aday to turn off all the lights, sending the women upstairs to sleep while Uncle Joe stays below.
As the night rolls on, Tiffany and Aday prepare for the party, stuffing pillows in Tiffany’s bed to make it seem like they are still asleep. Outside, their friends Leah and Rain eagerly await their escape. At the party, with Tyga performing, Madea soon realizes the girls are missing and heads to the party in search of them. Mistaken for being in costume, fraternity brothers foolishly ask to see her breasts, leading to a comical realization of her true age.
Madea, on her quest, converses with Leah and Rain, who inform her of Tiffany’s whereabouts. After a series of awkward encounters and failed attempts to find the girls, Madea returns home where Aunt Bam contacts the authorities. During the party, a series of events unfold where Tiffany and Aday find themselves in dangerous situations with fraternity boys, leading to an unfortunate realization about their true ages when one boy runs out to warn the others.
The cops soon arrive at the Simmons residence, investigating claims of underage guests at the party. Tiffany, in her pajamas, insists she’s been at home all night, leading the officers to mistakenly dismiss her as a prank caller. However, chaos ensues in the house with eerie occurrences, such as warnings written on mirrors and strange noises drawing everyone’s attention. When Madea, Hattie, and Aunt Bam discover a clown in the attic, a sequence of humorous pandemonium begins.
Madea receives a call from the preacher who claims he has Aday and wants to speak with them at the church. During their journey, they find themselves pursued by a mob of zombies, resulting in a frantic race to safety at the church. Here, Aday discloses that the spooky events were orchestrated by the frat boys in retaliation for calling the cops on their party. This revelation unites the group, inspiring them to conceive a plan of revenge.
Back at the frat house, Joe has already figured out what’s going on and joins the scheming plan. They coordinate with Brian to formulate a strategy, leading to a heated discussion about parenting styles as they confront Tiffany. In a dramatic turn, Tiffany reveals upsetting news about her mother, which opens the door to a deeper conversation about resilience and survival.
The next morning, law enforcement raiding the frat house uncovers chaos, where the fraternity boys hastily attempt to conceal evidence of their activities. In bewildering fashion, they encounter the fake blood scenario, prompting panicked responses. Ultimately, the younger characters realize the consequences of their actions while Madea mistakenly believes the police are friends of Brian in disguise, only to be perplexed when their true authority is revealed.
As the adventure concludes, the scene lightens with comedic relief and an impending sense of justice as the credits roll.
