Boris and Jonathan, a long-term couple, find their relationship strained as they increasingly live separate lives, with one reading in bed while the other works nearby. Boris, an actor, immerses himself in rehearsals for a film, blurring the lines between his role and reality, while Jonathan attempts to rediscover his writing. Their dynamic is observed through the perspective of Jonathan’s young niece, Josie, navigating the end of her childhood. This sensitive and humorous debut explores the complexities of relationships, portraying individuals searching for their place in life and the subtle ways we connect and drift apart.
