Harry Smilac, a struggling music manager of the band Kicks, can’t secure gigs and even ends up booking a Dairy Queen opening. While arranging a fundraiser, he mistakenly hires pro wrestler Rick Roberts as a musician, becoming his manager. He then books matches for Roberts and partner Tonga Tom, launches a combined “Rock ’n’ Wrestling” tour with his band, and finally tastes success again.
