Bob Biswas

Eight years after the accident, Bob Biswas wakes with memory loss and discovers he doesn't remember his wife or children. Kolkata police officers Jishu Narang and Kharaj Sahu begin shadowing him, keeping close tabs on his movements while concealing the truth about his past as an assassin. This setup foreshadows a dangerous double life that will soon resurface.

Jishu and Kharaj recruit Bob to work for them as an exclusive assassin and hand him a flip phone loaded with target photos. They paint a picture of safeguarding society while concealing their ties to Ustaad, the drug lord. Bob agrees, marking the start of a perilous new path under police direction.

Bob uses a pistol disguised as Nux Vomica, obtained from Kali Da, to kill his first target Bubai along with two of Bubai's men. The act sets him on the violent path his handlers want to keep him on. He then heads home, unknowingly stepping closer to his fractured family life.

On his way home, Bob encounters Mini, who has just bought Blue from Bubai. He remains unaware of her growing addiction and its implications for the family. The revelation ties the private tragedy of the Biswas household to Bob's violent profession.

Bob's second target is Rahul, an investor for Ustaad who is secretly an undercover police officer. Indira Verma begins investigating the Bubai and Rahul murders, quickly suspecting Bob and monitoring his every move. The net around him tightens as the case unfolds.

Dhonu, a henchman of Ustaad, is assigned to investigate the murders but remains on friendly terms with Bob, visiting his noodle stand regularly. This uneasy link further entwines Bob with the drug network and complicates the pursuit.

While visiting Mary's grave, Bob recalls a diary listing names of targets, who gave the target, and money exchanged. With the diary, he finds a hidden key, hinting at a larger stash and a possible way to secure his family's future. The discovery intensifies the stakes of his covert life.

Indira Verma informs Bob that her boss is instrumental in fighting the drug mafia, and he chooses not to kill the third target. This encounter prompts Bob to rethink his path and the consequences of continuing down the blood-soaked road. The tension between morality and obligation deepens.

Jishu Narang and Kharaj Sahu come to question Bob about skipping the third target, and Bob asserts that he will not continue killing unless forced. They press on and head to their Boss, signaling a dangerous escalation in the confrontation around Bob. The tension between law and violence comes to a head.

Bob goes back to Kali Da to return the Nux Vomica and asks about the key. Kali Da takes him to a trunk room inside his shop, where Bob discovers a carrier bag full of cash. The windfall promises a potential escape for Bob and his family, altering the stakes of their situation.

Boss shows Ustaad a Polaroid of Bob killing his associates, triggering Ustaad to order more danger for Bob. Dhonu attempts to kill Bob but is killed by another of Ustaad's henchmen, illustrating the ruthless escalation of the conflict and the high price of Bob's ties to the cartel.

Two Ustaad henchmen torture Bob, breaking his right hand, and Mary and Benny are killed in the struggle. Bob is arrested by Indira but is released by orders from Indira's boss, who recognizes potential leverage in Bob. The family tragedy hardens Bob's resolve and complicates his fragile safety.

Bob tracks down Ustaad, defeats Kharaj, and launches an assault on Ustaad's operation, killing several of his henchmen. After a brutal confrontation, Ustaad dies, bringing a grim resolution to the violent cycle that defined Bob's life for years.

Six months pass and Bob and Mini visit Mary and Benny's graves, where their relationship remains fraught. They do not speak much, and Mini eventually leaves, but Bob receives a photo of his next target on his phone and accepts the assignment with quiet resolve.
