The story reaches its climax when Gayatri finally pieces together the puzzle that has been tormenting her. The nurse she has trusted, introduced as Deepak, is revealed to be Chander, the real killer. He has been feeding her medication that induces terrifying nightmares and accelerates her loss of sight, while the key Gautami left behind leads Gayatri to his hidden “red room,” a macabre gallery of Polaroids documenting the last moments of both Gautami and Neil. The photographs make it clear that Neil never committed suicide; he was forced to write a false note under Chander’s pressure and was then murdered.

Confronting Chander, Gaypri learns that his cruelty stems from a twisted resentment toward anyone who can see. He confesses that he chose Gautami because she was blind, hoping she would be more accepting, and now he wants to do the same to Gayatri. The confrontation takes a darker turn when it is disclosed that Chander is actually the estranged son of Mrs. Solanki, the elderly actress who has helped Gayatri throughout the investigation. Solanki’s abusive past and abandonment of her son fuel his fury, and in a brutal moment she is killed by her own son.

Faced with the choice of surrendering to a life of blindness or fighting back, Gayatri pretends to accept Chander’s twisted offer. She lures him into a strobe‑lit struggle, using the sudden flash of light to destabilise his anxiety‑ridden mind. The police, alerted by her earlier call, arrive just as the battle reaches its peak. Overwhelmed by the sudden attention and the bright illumination, Chander turns the knife on himself, ending his reign of terror as Gayatri and the officers watch.

In the aftermath, Gayatri is taken to a hospital where she undergoes a second eye transplant—a surgery that finally restores her vision. The film closes with her opening her eyes to a world she has been forced to perceive only through sound and memory, symbolising both her literal and emotional rebirth after a nightmarish ordeal.
