Antonio LeBlanc, a talented tattoo artist, lives just outside New Orleans with his expectant wife Kathy and her biological daughter, Jessie. They face financial struggles due to Antonio's troubled past and criminal record, which complicates his ability to find stable work.

Antonio encounters aggressive harassment from NOPD officers, Ace and Denny. This situation becomes particularly tense as Denny is revealed to be Jessie's biological father, creating additional emotional strain.

Following a violent altercation with the police, Antonio is arrested and faces deportation due to the revelation that his adoptive parents did not naturalize him. This moment marks a significant turning point in his life, thrusting him into the daunting world of immigration enforcement.
