Carmen, twelve, is stuck at home over the summer while most families are on vacation. She spends her days playing with younger neighborhood kids Anders and Kerstin. Meanwhile, twenty‑year‑old Bengt‑Olof, who is intellectually challenged and lacks peers, begins to intimidate and bully the children. At first they try to avoid him, but soon they devise a plan to turn the tables and exact revenge.
