In 1921, British Lord Athleigh and his daughter Helen travel to Dublin for peace negotiations. Unrecognized Irish rebel leader Dennis Riordan intervenes, rescuing them from an assassination attempt. Helen and Dennis fall in love, unaware of his true identity. When he reveals himself, Helen faces a decisive choice between love and loyalty.
