Beladingala Baale

Revanth defeats Polonski to become the world chess champion, gaining worldwide fame. He returns to Bangalore and begins working as an assistant executive at Kanara Advertising Service. Despite the victory, he soon realizes the public attention is sparse and does not bring the recognition he expected.

Colleagues and his boss James congratulate him on the achievement. He acknowledges that despite international success, he has almost no fans or press coverage. He feels a disconnect between his victory and societal recognition.

A woman claiming to be a fan calls to congratulate him but refuses to reveal her name. She challenges Revanth to identify her within the next half hour, hinting that her name starts with R. He and James begin listing Hindu names beginning with R.

During interviews for candidates, Revanth asks them to write Hindu names starting with R. Rasikapriya is suggested, provoking the mystery caller who disconnects the line. He remains frustrated and unsure of her identity.

A couple of days later she calls again; he apologizes for the earlier misstep and is mesmerized by her voice. He expresses a desire to meet her in person. She replies that she will reveal herself only if he can locate where she is calling from within two minutes.

She provides a two-minute deadline and a puzzle that supposedly reveals her number. Revanth tries to solve it but ends up at the wrong phone booth. This failure fuels his determination as the hunt continues.

James and Revanth attempt to trace calls via the telephone exchange, but both efforts fail. James also pursues a fling with a telephone operator, adding personal complications to the pursuit. The search for Ramya continues despite setbacks.

Revanth is arrested for being in a room where a girl committed suicide, a consequence of his earlier pursuit. He undertakes extreme stunts, including measuring the angle of Dr Ambedkar's hand in front of Vidhana Soudha (88 degrees), hoping clues will lead to the mystery woman's identity.

The mystery woman is named Beladingala Baale, and she gives Revanth one month to locate her. She marks him with a new target and fuels his determination.

Based on clues in a letter, Revanth deduces the mystery woman's name is Ramya. She gives him a four-day deadline to locate her.

Before facing Polonski, Revanth must beat local chess master Prabhakar. He is accused of hypnotizing Prabhakar with a lemon hidden in his pocket, a trick staged by novelist Seetharam in revenge for a refused book testimonial.

Revanth is disqualified and forced to resign, but Beladingala Baale motivates him to try a new plan: play seven opponents at once blindfolded. He defeats them all, clearing his name and proving himself a true champion.

James reveals his engagement to Sulochana, the telephone operator who aided them; Revanth tells Ramya he's happy for James. Ramya sets a four-day deadline to meet him, escalating the tension before the encounter at Ashoka hotel.

During the Polonski match, Revanth's moves begin to reveal Ramya's address. He also uses the Ramya clues to search for the correct JP Nagar address and the associated phone number.

Ramya's letter reveals she had a rare disease with only six months to live. She asks that her dead body not be moved until Revanth comes; he discovers she existed in his imagination and chooses to keep her memory alive, walking away in the rain.
