Badland Hunters

Meanwhile, Nam San, Ji-wan, and Eun-ho fight their way to the laboratory to rescue her. During the chaos, the mutated Gi-su injects himself with the serum derived from Su-na’s untouched pituitary gland, turning into a mutant himself. In a final confrontation, Nam San kills Gi-su as he becomes grotesquely transformed and dangerous. The climax is underscored when the region receives rain, symbolizing the end of the darkness and the destruction of the evil experiments. Ultimately, Su-na is saved and finds a new life with Nam San and Ji-wan, forming a makeshift family. The ending hints at a lighter future for her, with the other characters moving forward after exposing the horrific truth behind the experiments.”
