Karuppaswamy, a night watchman living in a Tamil Nadu village with his sister and nephews, suffers a serious hip injury while returning from work. His son, Senthil, decides to take him to their ancestral village for traditional healing instead of seeking treatment in town. After a few days, Karuppaswamy unexpectedly passes away. During the funeral rites, a disturbing revelation heard by one of his nephews sends a chill through the family.
