Attack of the 60 Foot Centerfold

Three finalists for Plaything Magazine’s Centerfold of the Year—Inga, Raelyn Saalman; Betty, Tammy Parks; and Angel Grace, J. J. North—converge at a glamorous photoshoot that promises fame while quietly stirring rivalry and insecurity among them.

After the shoot, Angel visits Dr. Lindstrom, John Lazar, who previously helped her with experimental beauty drugs. He warns that any additional doses could be fatal, yet he ultimately hands her a case full of vials, urging her to take only one per day as she contemplates a risky return to the enhancements.

Sometime later, the trio travels to the Plaything Mansion for a decisive shoot to crown the Centerfold. There they encounter Bob Gordon, founder of Plaything Magazine, whose ambitions loom large over the proceedings. On the morning of the shoot, Angel oversleeps, realizes she skipped a dose, and discovers the first signs of aging beginning to creep in. In a moment of desperation, she takes several vials, overdoses, and wakes to find she has grown 1–2 feet taller. The world around her suddenly seems smaller—her high heels and bikini look diminutive against her new scale.

Her late arrival crowds the room with astonishment, and the trio begins posing for Mark. A fainting spell interrupts the session, and when Gordon returns with others, Angel has transformed into a giantess. A circus-style setup soon follows, as Angel grapples with the sudden change and the public gaze that accompanies it.

Back at the Mansion, Mark and Gordon start plotting to use Angel’s size as the magazine’s marquee feature and to hand her over to the government for experimentation. Wilson overhears the conspiratorial plan and confronts them, expressing concern about the manipulation and making his loyalties clear.

Over the next few days, Mark pressures Angel to pose for another shoot, claiming that Gordon arranged for a specialist and that Dr. Lindstrom cannot be reached. Wilson secretly contacts Dr. Lindstrom, who agrees to travel to the Mansion to assess Angel. Betty, furious about losing out in the contest, discovers Angel’s stash of beauty drugs and pockets several vials for herself.

As the photoshoot looms, Mark continues to press Angel to participate, while Gordon and Wilson join the proceedings toward the end. Betty arrives, having grown even larger, and launches a brutal attack on Angel. The chase spills into downtown Los Angeles as Lindstrom, Mark, and Wilson pursue. Wilson administers an antidote—developed by Lindstrom—that shrinks Angel and Betty back toward normal size.

A quiet moment follows between Wilson and Angel, offering a flicker of hope for genuine connection. Yet the finale turns dark: Mark makes a forceful advance toward Betty, who suffers a catastrophic failure in the antidote’s stability and explodes, killing both Betty and Mark in a sudden, tragic end.
