Atlantis: Milo’s Return

In the wake of Atlantean ruin, Kida ascends to the throne and begins the long work of restoring her city. She and Milo wield the Heart of Atlantis to rekindle a civilization that was nearly lost.

Milo Thatch returns with allies, and Whitmore arrives, signaling a new danger from the surface. They inform Kida that ships and cargo are being terrorized by a mysterious threat, hinting at trouble beyond Atlantis.

The team travels to Trondheim, Norway to investigate the surface threat and search for answers in legends and relics. Their exploration seeks clues about who or what is behind the recent upheavals.

In Trondheim they encounter a fearsome creature that seems tied to Atlantean war technology. At first, the group suspects an ancient war machine might be responsible for the disruption.

They uncover town magistrate Edgar Volgud is in league with the creature, suggesting a human hand behind the danger. The revelation expands the threat beyond a mere monster to a dangerous alliance.

The deeper truth emerges: the Kraken is the true mastermind and has brokered with Volgud to sustain the town by trading lifespans and souls. This chilling bargain reveals how desperation has corrupted a community.

A fierce confrontation destroys the Kraken, breaking its hold on the town. Volgud's immortality collapses in an instant, and he disintegrates, allowing the village's spirit to be restored.

The journey leads to the Southwestern United States, where coyote spirits guide them to a hidden Arizona city built with Atlantean architecture. They uncover remnants of a vanished Atlantean outpost and seek further knowledge.

A cunning shop owner, Ashtin Carnaby, tries to loot the sanctuary, but the spirits respond decisively by transforming him into one of them. The encounter preserves history from profiteering at the expense of the past.

The wind spirit Chakashi entrusts Kida with the sanctuary's guarded knowledge and reminds her that Atlantis’ destiny lies in her hands. This moment marks a turning point for Kida as she embraces her responsibility.

Back home, Erik Hellstrom—Whitmore’s old rival—has gone mad with power and proclaims himself Odin after a stock-market collapse. He steals Gungnir and pursues the heroes toward the Nordic Mountains.

Hellstrom’s plan escalates to Ragnarok with lava and ice beasts to reset the world. Vinny buys the heroes time for Kida to reclaim the spear and unite it with the Heart Crystal, lifting Atlantis from the sea and beginning a new era, while Whitmore reflects on how their choices changed the planet for the better.
