Pasquale, a police officer in Rome, encounters Desideria during a raid. Desideria, a trans person who lives with trans friends Gaia and Gioia, is an old schoolmate of Pasquale. She quickly falls for him, but Pasquale is already engaged to Nellina, whose distance makes their meetings rare, leaving him to reconsider his feelings for Desideria.
