Giada, Cristiana Capotondi, is a Rome-based student of communication sciences and embodies the archetype of a nerd: clumsy, a bit scruffy, and totally devoted to her studies. Coming from a modest background, she sustains herself by working as a waitress and offering tutoring to make ends meet. In contrast, Riccardo, Nicolas Vaporidis, lives the high life as a trust-fund baby, chasing social events, late-night club nights, and the company of his friends. Their paths collide when Riccardo’s father warns that his generous support will dry up unless his grades improve, forcing a clash between duty and pleasure.
As Riccardo’s circle of frivolous friends suggests, the easiest way to shore up his study hours might be to win Giada’s tutoring through a little game: seduction. Riccardo, drawn more by curiosity about Giada’s eccentric personality than by physical attraction, agrees to the risky plan.
