Tex and his sidekick Grass enlist with McGill’s itinerant show, but when Price sets fire to McGill’s wagons, Tex takes a job as county tax collector to raise funds. The decision backfires when Price, one of the debtors, flatly refuses to pay, and the venture quickly spirals out of control.
