Miss April Bergen, a nurse who pines for Dr. Vagn Jochumsen, finds him busy with his new vaccine research. When Vagn travels to Greece for an exchange, April tags along, despite his aloofness while the Greek doctors prove far more expressive. Their clash of Danish reserve and Mediterranean warmth fuels a comedy that blends humor with Greek folklore.
