Jani, known as Polz, is an earnest elementary schoolboy fascinated by invention. He admires classmate Hojka and receives encouragement from his mother, Hojka and the quirky Fitipaldi, while his physicist father dismisses his tinkering. Just as his first creation seems poised for success, it explodes, ending his home experiments. Though adults see him as a rebel, his younger brother vows to continue Polz’s inventive spirit.
