Anji

In 1932, greedy Veerendra Bhatia and two tantriks attempt to seize the Atmalingam from a cave guarded by a divine trident and a gigantic cobra. They fail in their plan and are killed; Bhatia loses his right hand as the sacred stone is swept away by the river. The Atmalingam sinks into the water and becomes invisible, seemingly vanished from the mortal world.

Over the following decades, Bhatia ages while relentlessly searching for any trace of the Atmalingam. He grows older, never finding it, and the artifact remains elusive as time passes. The quest continues despite his growing disillusionment.

In 2004, the Akasha Ganga is due to flow to earth for the Atmalingam. A professor who studied the Atmalingam and the Akasha Ganga possesses vital information recorded in a red diary. Fearing Bhatia's reach, the professor sends the diary to Swapna in the USA to keep it safe and out of harm's way.

Sensing danger to the professor's information, Swapna returns to India to secure it. She arrives to find the professor killed, and Bhatia's men are closing in on them. The confrontation is inevitable as the chase resumes.

During her escape, Swapna encounters Anji, a kind-hearted local who serves Sivanna and watches over four orphans. Anji offers help and becomes a potential ally against Bhatia. The meeting sets the stage for a joint effort to protect the Atmalingam.

Anji stumbles upon the Atmalingam and the artifact takes hold of him, granting possession of the sacred stone. Bhatia and his men redouble their pursuit. Swapna and the others join the makeshift alliance to safeguard the relic.

Sivanna advises Anji that the Atmalingam must be returned to its rightful place. The plan shifts toward moving the relic to a temple in the Himalayas. The urgency rises as the 72-year cycle approaches its conclusion.

Anji and Swapna undertake the journey to the Himalayas to reinstall the Atmalingam in a temple built with shaligram stones by Bhagiratha. The temple becomes visible after 72 years, marking the moment when the relic can be restored. They prepare to enter and complete the restoration.

Using the clues in the red diary, Anji navigates a series of traps and tests within the temple. He survives the ordeals and reaches the sanctum where the Atmalingam awaits reintegration. The preparation is nearly complete as danger closes in.

Before Anji can drink the sacred water, Bhatia seizes the Akasha Ganga water and drinks it, escalating the confrontation. One of the orphans is shot during the chaos, heightening the stakes. The conflict intensifies around the temple chamber.

In the climactic moment, Lord Shiva appears and destroys Bhatia with his third eye. A drop of the holy water revives the injured orphan, and Anji seizes a chance to escape the collapsing temple. The miracle confirms the Atmalingam's divine power.

Anji, Swapna, and the four orphans make their escape by helicopter, carrying the Atmalingam with them. As they depart, the temple and the relic vanish into thin air, leaving no trace behind. The group returns to their home with a hopeful but mysterious ending.
