A funeral car journeys through the streets of Medellín as a young director reflects on his past in a violent and conservative environment. He recounts the early stages of his first film, a low-budget horror movie featuring ghosts, and the casting of Medellín's vibrant queer community. Tragedy strikes when the film's lead actor dies from a heroin overdose at the age of 21, mirroring the fate of many of the director's friends. The story delves into the hopes, anxieties, and struggles of a lost generation grappling with grief and determined to continue creating cinema.
