As a promising young woman, Angi Vera is invited to a Communist training center for the next stage of Party indoctrination. There she discovers that advancement relies on saying what is politically correct rather than what one believes, cultivating friendships with Party officials regardless of personal feelings, and projecting the image of a diligent worker instead of actually being one.
