Unemployed and labelled a trouble‑maker, Jaikishan lives in the slum Asha Colony near Lokhandwala with his sister Seema and parents. He takes in Mili, a homeless orphan plagued by inferiority, and lets her stay with his family. Outspoken and cynical about corruption, he rejects the Khan family’s schemes—builder Majid, his thug brother Farid, and their father Jahangir. When he defies them, the police arrest him for Farid’s alleged daylight murder, turning his life upside down.
