Manmohan, known as Moni, lives a double life as a stage magician and as the thief Bhagula Bhagat, stealing from the rich to give to the poor. He falls in love with Sunita, called Soni, but her fortunes change when she reunites with a wealthy man she believes is her father, Daulatram. Rejecting Moni, she later learns she isn’t Daulatram’s daughter but Nandlal’s child, whose mysterious death haunts the story.
