Alien Abduction

A group of carefree teenagers heads into the woods for a camping trip. They drink and hang out as a strange light appears overhead, catching Jean's attention. Jean pulls out her video camera to document the UFO, but the others remain skeptical.

That night the aliens attack while the friends are gathered around the campfire. They attempt to flee but cannot escape and are abducted. They awaken in a dim, alien-constructed cell, disoriented and frightened.

The four are rounded up and pushed into a room where they are tied down and examined by unseen beings. The claustrophobic room is filled with strange glyphs and eerie lights. They begin to understand they are part of a larger alien experiment.

Jean wakes in a hospital, plagued by terrible flashbacks of the abduction. A shadowy figure enters, staples something into the back of her neck, and the flashbacks stop, erasing her memory of the abduction. She is left with no recollection of what happened to her friends.

Dr. Booker, a staff psychiatrist, explains that she is in a facility for UFO abductees and must remain there until she can resume a normal life. The military attache, Commander Shakti, reveals that she is a candidate for lobotomy. The threat of permanent control hangs over her.

Jean breaks into another wing of the hospital and discovers a section reserved for mutants, the insane, and the lobotomized. She witnesses a woman having her skull drilled, a horrifying reminder of what could happen to her. The atmosphere grows darker as she sees the hospital's true purpose.

Shakti interrogates Jean and orders her to be subjected to electric shock therapy until she passes out. When she awakens, Shakti sends her to an execution room as punishment or further control. Jean’s resolve begins to harden behind the forced compliance.

Jean disguises herself by impersonating a nurse and steals away to the storage area. She discovers her own box of belongings, a memory stick, and the missing tape from her video camera. She replays the abduction, realizes the truth, and escapes by killing a guard while recording more evidence of the alien experiments in a laboratory.

Jean encounters Dr. Thomas in the workers' locker room and learns the aliens have escaped and are infecting the facility. The hospital erupts into chaos as infected individuals are attacked and killed, and alien larvae start cracking out of skulls to spread aboard the ship.

Jean and Thomas attempt to save their friends, but Todd betrays them. Britney and Thomas are killed in the chaos, and an alien larva bursts from Thomas's head as he dies. Jean then shoots a threatening alien in the throat and fights toward safety.

Jean is confronted with a lab full of human clones of herself and her friends. Shakti explains that Jean died in the abduction and that she herself is a clone. The revelation shatters her assumptions about humanity and the aliens' plans.

Dr. Brooks removes Jean's memory suppression chip, restoring access to the aliens' collective memory. Jean can decipher the alien symbols and numbers she had previously failed to decipher, and she declares she is ready to serve the mission from Earth.

Jean, Todd, Bud, and Britney find themselves hiking through the woods on a sunny day. A rescue helicopter spots them, offering a chance at life. When an army officer asks where they've been for two weeks, Jean gives him a guarded look, hinting that the truth is far from over.
